Hi there! It’s Wednesday, so. you know what that means! it’s a new post!

I hope you’re doing well!

Next week is Thanksgiving already (can you believe it??) and I have to admit the holidays are a little tough this year with all of the Covid restrictions.

But I have faith that soon things will get better and next year on Thanksgiving we can celebrate like we always have!

For me, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all of the things I’m thankful for. Of course, as I grow older, the “things” I’m most thankful for aren’t really things at all. It’s the people I care about – Friends and family.

Did you know that having meaningful relationships in your life decrease your chance of heart disease and mental health? It’s true!

Choose people in your life that encourage you and love you for who you are. Not the people that want you to be someone you’re not.

This week I wanted to share with you my recent guest blog post at “MyDoqter”. Well, I sat down with them to talk about what I’m seeing with patients during these last few weeks specifically as it relates to anxiety, social anxiety and friendships in general. If you or your kids are dealing with this at home, I hope it helps.

Now more than ever you and your kids need to find ways to connect with others. Friendships and meaningful relationships are more important for your overall well-being than you realize.
